Developmental Curriculum

Our Developmental Curriculum is an age appropriate curriculum which enables all pupils to make recognisable small steps of progress to develop their early learning skills in preparation for accessing the formal curriculum. It is a skills based curriculum which focusses on developing social communication, social interaction, functional literacy, functional numeracy, knowledge & understanding of the world, physical development, independence, self-help and personal care skills. The development of problem solving, flexibility, creative and critical thinking and resilience are embedded in this curriculum.
