High Park School Community Walks 796 Miles and Raises Nearly £2,000

This Summer Term, learners and staff at High Park School have enjoyed a fantastic Sponsored Walk Week, taking on a series of walks at locations including the Canal Walk, Lister Park, Northcliffe Woods, Ogden Waters and Otley Chevin. Along the way, pupils developed confidence, resilience, independence and teamwork through meaningful real-world experiences.

We’re delighted to share that, together, our school community walked an incredible 796.67 miles and raised a fantastic £1,953!

A huge thank you to everyone who supported us by donating, walking alongside us or helping to spread the word. Your kindness and generosity have made a real difference, and we couldn’t have done it without you.

Every penny raised will go towards creating an interactive multimedia room for our pupils – a specialist space that will enhance learning, communication and engagement, creating even more opportunities for our learners to thrive.

We are incredibly proud of everyone who took part and grateful to our wonderful families and community for making this year’s Sponsored Walk Week such a success.

Hey there, couldn’t help noticing you’re using Internet Explorer

That’s great and all, and we commend you for pushing through with it. Unfortunately we no longer offer support for IE; it hasn’t received a major update since 2015 and Microsoft are dropping support for it later in the year.

If you’re using Windows 10 and want to stick with a built in browser, please consider switching to Edge. Or, if you really want to enjoy the internet properly we strongly recommend downloading Google Chrome here.
